a pragmatic approach to subverting the traditional gallery experience by incorporating more senses

i may have mixed skittles and m&m’s together, but only because it was for a good cause. i’m not that evil in real life

100+ people were asked to answer “what does love mean to you?” with a photographable action or facial expression. these images were printed out at polaroid-like sizes and dimensions and taped to the windows spelling out #LoveTrumpsHate. less than 24 hours after installation, a drunk frat boy rearranged the images to spell “i love trump.” to make use of the conversational opportunity, i re-rearranged it to say “love conquers” and proceeded to have a dialogue with the person responsible.
